The Flying ‘P’

This picture was taken during the 1950’s by class 5516 during the NATO training period. This formation was called the Flying P, and was common among those doing some formation flying while at Penhold. The ‘P’ of course stood for Penhold. The aircraft that are seen in the picture are of course Harvard’s, which were the training aircraft that were used at #4 FTS.
